What is Cabitruck?

Cabitruck is a platform of road transport contracting management designed to connect European Carriers and Shippers who want to transport goods within the European Union.

We want to establish a connection between Carriers and Shippers, but the Company will be expressly excluded from the contractual relationship established between both parties.

Why use Cabitruck?

Because we offer our customers a personalized freight service and very competitive prices.

If you are a Shipper, it allows you to find a truck to transport your cargo from the origin to anywhere in Europe.

If you are a carrier, it provides you with “return charges” throughout Europe.

Who can use Cabitruck?

Carriers at European level and Shippers transporting goods within the European Community.

Since the company is expressly excluded from the contractual relationship between the parties, the procedure is simplified and users have full freedom of action and there is no control over the users registered in the Application.

How can I register with Cabitruck?

The users interested in using the services of the platform can register their company through the web www.cabitruck.com

With the company registration you receive an identification (ID), USER and PASSWORD.

What documents do I need?

If you are a carrier, to complete the registration of the platform you will need to send us your Tax reference number, the community transport license and the certificate of up-to-date tax payments.

Also, you must provide the SWIFT / BIC code and the IBAN of the account where you want to pay the contracted services.

On the other hand, you must accept the freight orders indicated by the Shipper.

If you are a Shipper, to complete the registration of the platform you will need to send us your Tax reference number and the freight orders you want to give to the carrier (if you have them). Depending on the instructions given, the price of the service could change.

You must also provide the SWIFT / BIC code and the IBAN of the account where you want the contracted services to be collected.

In what languages ​​is Cabitruck available?

It is available in Spanish, English, French, German, Romanian, Slovenian, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Lithuanian and Portuguese.

What are the components of Cabitruck?

Cabitruck consists of two elements: the dashboard or control panel, whereby the Shippers and Carriers will interact; and the application, which will be installed on the phone of the drivers and it allows to know at any time the status of each service.

How does the dashboard work?

The dashboard or control panel is a web tool that can be accessed by shippers and carriers registered in Cabitruck. It is accessible from any computer that has a browser and internet connection.

It allows shippers to request new services, know their status and request transport services; and carriers receive offers and control their fleet.

How can I reset my password?

When you have registered on our website, you will receive an email with a link to reset your password. If you click on the submitted link, you can reset your password and access www.cabitruck.com as a user. If you cannot access the link, contact us at info@cabitruck.com and we will be happy to help you.

How does the App work?

Cabitruck is a FREE and NO ADVERTISEMENT app.

If you are a carrier, once you have downloaded the app and registered, you can indicate the origin and destination of the current transport and, from that moment, your truck will appear available at the destination point on the estimated date of arrival.

If you are a shipper, once you have downloaded the app and registered, you can issue a transport request and the App will respond with the first available vehicle that has the requirements of your request, indicating the price of the service. You can choose between different types of trucks, number of drivers, driver languages, etc.

How can I improve the geolocation?

The app will automatically detect the location of the truck through the phone’s GPS.

For a more precise geolocation, you can write directly in the platform the address or the name of the place where you are.

If the location is not detected automatically by the application, you will have to connect to the nearest WiFi network.

Where can I use the Cabitruck App?

It may be used within the space of the European Community.

Where can I download the Cabitruck App?

For Android devices, you can download it on Google Play.

For iOS devices, you can download it from the Apple Store.

Specific questions

What happens if the freight is damaged during transport?

In any case, the Carrier assumes the responsibility in case of breach or inaccuracy of the contractual relationship established with the Charger by virtue of the contracted services.

What is the price of the service? How are prices generated?

The price corresponding to the requested service will be determined by the Application according to multiple parameters such as distance, fuel price, characteristics of the requested vehicle and the existing demand, etc. in other aspects.

Are the transport services guaranteed?

All transport services are guaranteed by our insurance company, which will check and approve the risk in each transport service.

How can I do the payments?

The Shipper has two options to pay the contracted transports.

You can pay by credit or debit card at the time of the request or with deferred payment to sixty days (60 days) by direct debit.

Will I have to pay additional expenses?

The algorithm calculates the price based on different parameters such as distance, fuel price, characteristics of the requested vehicle and existing demand. This price will be closed and the shipper will be notified before hiring the service.

How can I locate the goods?

The app will automatically detect the location of the truck that carries out the transport through the geolocation of the driver`s mobile phone.

What type of freight can be transported?

Completes. And any type of merchandise can be transported.

What type of vehicle can be hired?

The Cabitruck fleet covers all types of vehicles: tractor trayler, refrigerated trucks, tanker truck, open and closed platforms, etc.

What document should I keep as proof of shipment?

They must keep the CMR transport document. The Carrier is obliged to keep the CMR waybill, for a period of five years, and to make the original available to the platform as soon as required. [i]
